About Renee de Jong?
Renee de Jong is a local resident of Mount Eliza, and Podiatrist of 20 years’ experience. In 2022, she has decided to set up her own Mt Eliza practice.
With a family of 5 children at school and kindergarten, she is actively involved in schools and sporting clubs in Mornington as well as Mount Eliza. This extends to club administration, coaching, and participation across netball, football, surf lifesaving, swimming and running. She also continues with social netball in her own right!
Having completed her formal training in Applied Science (Sport Science) and Podiatry, she spent time working in general practice and specialised sports podiatry. This included attending the Athens Olympic Games (2004), the Commonwealth Games (2006),and the Masters Games (2002). Renee has also supported 4 Oxfam Trailwalker events as a podiatrist and spent a season in Canada fitting snow boots and moulding footbeds for skiers.
Renee is a registered Podiatrist, a member of APodA, and holds current first aid and working with children check certificates. During her career she has always had patient welfare at the forefront of her approach to treatment and thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients as she helps them.
